Clearly Connected Nature Tours
LIVE. LOVE. PADDLE.
In my last post I discussed the dating site, Match.com. If you have joined this site or tried it out using the free trial offer, you have probably noticed that Match.com does require some work. Although the site does send you matches, it's largely up to you to find people you like and to contact them yourself. In other words, it requires some initiative on your part. At the very least, you will need to search other members, take the time to read their profile to determine if they are a good fit for your personality, then go through the trouble of sending a thoughtful message. Of course, you can always try to take a short cut, but anyone who has used dating sites for any period of time will tell you that sending messages that only contain a few words will not elicit a response in most cases. So you need to put in the requisite work if you are interested in getting results at Match.com.
But what about Eharmony? I believe this site can be an interesting middle ground for people who don't have the time to find a match themselves but are still interested in putting in the work to get to know someone once a connection is made. As you probably are aware, Eharmony uses its own, proprietary matching system and this means that you don't have to go through the trouble of finding matches on your own. Rather, the system will generate the matches and send them to you. Once that happens, you only need to do two things. Read the profiles of the people you are matched with, and if you want to communicate with them, send them a message. Alternatively, you can use a simplified messaging system known as guided communication. This works better for some people who are too timid to send a full-fledged message in the inital stages of communication. To send full message, you need to have a membership, but you can always use eharmony promo codes and coupons to save a bit of money. In many ways, Eharmony makes life easier for you but if you don't trust their matching system, that will be moot. It may therefore be best for you to obtain the Eharmony free trial so that you have an opportunity to check out how the matching system works.
